Governing Health in Africa: President Flamment participates in an International Conference

29/05/2007 - On May 29th in Rome, a conference on “Governing Health in Africa: New Partnerships” took place as part of the year Science and Technology proclaimed by the African Union. The conference was opened by the President of Formez Carlo Flamment and the President of IsIAO (Italian Institute for Africa and Asia), Professor Gherardo Gnoli.

Among the speakers taking part in the conference were Sen.s Livia Turco, Minister of Health, Hon. Patrizia Sentinelli, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ms Donatellla Linguiti, the Undersecretary for Human Rights and Equal Opportunities. The debate was chaired by Hon. Umberto Ranieri the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies and Sen. Tullia Carrettoni President of IsIAO and Head of CAO (Centre for West Africa).
