PON GAS – Hub&Spoke System: The New Phase of Laboratory Development

General objectives:
 
The second phase of the project intends to broaden and strengthen the objectives and results of the first phase, through actions directed to the development and consolidation of processes of local partnership at regional and interregional level, with reference to international cooperation with Western Balkan and South Mediterranean countries.
The specific objectives of the Project Hub&Spoke – New Phase are the following:

• To involve a new group of municipal and provincial administrations in the 4 Objective Convergence Regions in capacity building system actions
• To promote the development of local cooperation systems, through concerted actions and stable operational collaboration between beneficiary administrations and actors from local territorial systems
• To encourage the development of the interregional network between Southern Italian local authorities for the exchange, sharing and development of joint cooperation initiatives

The project beneficiaries are Italy’s Ob. Convergence administrations.

Expected results:

• Strategic plans defined, technical competences acquired and organizational and procedural set-ups designed, which allow for aware and organized participation of the municipal and provincial administrations of the 4 Objective Convergence Regions in international cooperation programmes
• Creation and strengthening, across territories, of collaborations with other local authorities and technical bodies on the basis of shared interests and a shared strategic set-up
• Start-up of collaborations between the administrations from various regions interested in strengthening their participation in international cooperation activities, owing to the sharing of relationships with other countries and experiences developed in previous projects
