ALBANIA - Support to the Albanian Civil Aviation Safety Management Systems

The general objective of the project is to foster the social and economic development of Albania also by updating the standards on safety, in line with the European regulation framework, as well as the improvement of human resources’ skills on airworthiness, flight and grant operations, license management and reporting.

Actions:
The project consists in 6 components which can be divided into the following macro-areas:  

1. analysis of the Albanian legislation
2. review of procedures
3. organizational structures within the Authority reviewed and improved
4. training need assessment and provision of the training necessary to ensure the project sustainability
5. technical assistance for the implementation of the safety standards
6. diffusion of the results
