Study Visit of the Croatian Officials from the Anti-Corruption Unit
From 7 to 11 November 2011 in Rome, the study visit of the Croatian Officials from the Anti-Corruption Unit - Croatia's Ministry of Justice will take place. The officials will take part in meetings to the various bodies involved in the project, namely FormezPA, Siemens Holding S.p.A., ENI, Italy's Ministry of Justice, SAeT (Anti-corruption and Transparency Service), COLAF (Italian Committee for the Repression of Community Frauds), AVCP (Supervisory Authority on Public Procurement Contracts for Supplies, Works and Services), Antimafia Investigation Department, CONSIP S.p.A. (Italian Public Procurement Agency), ANAS. The key topics discussed will be the promotion of fairness and transparency in work contracts, legal issues of merit, the fight against corruption, prevention in the field of EU frauds, the monitoring of Public Procurement to avoid corruption events, prevention measures for blocking organized crime infiltrations into public contracts, prevention of corruption in construction and the maintenance of roads.
The study visit will be officially opened by FormezPA General Manager, Prof. Marco Villani.
