Cultural Heritage - Session 3. Integration between Cultural Heritage and related Sectors - EU and International Financing Opport
From September 9th to 12th, 2007 in Beograd (Serbia), the third module of the training course in the ambit of the guide-line Cultural Heritage for the Serbian Public Administration, was held. Session III was divided into two parts: - Session III.1, October 9th and 10th. Integration between cultural heritage and related sectors: environment, tourism, handicrafts and local products. The session aimed at assessing the policies on the enhancement of cultural heritage which are considered to be an integral sector of the economic activities. Examples and case studies were studied on the potential activities for enhancing the local natural and environmental patrimony. The two teaching days were held by Ms Annalisa Cicerchia, a senior expert recommended by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage. Session III.2, October 11th and 12th. EU and international financing opportunities for Cultural Heritage. The session offered the participants a scenario of the potential sources of financing and support in the ambit of the European and international programmes which are directly or indirectly related to the cultural sector. The last two teaching days were held by Ms Anna Misiani, expert consultant at the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and member of the Investment Evaluation and Verification Unit of the Lazio region.
