Civil Protection - Albania. The Basic Course Module

On October 9th, in Lezhe (Albania) the second module of the civil protection course started. On the first day, a review of the emergency situations which have occurred was outlined with a focus on the measures adopted and those experiences which could be useful for the future. Furthermore, the theme of emergency planning was discussed as well as the possibility of interaction and integration between national plans and plans established by other institutions, the methods and analysis of the key elements of an emergency plan. Finally, the participants were invited to discuss the problems faced in the management and planning of emergencies by proposing practical cases. The second day was dedicated to a brief presentation of the experiences actually undertaken. The group of participants based their work on these elements for defining scenarios, identifying institutions and facilities to be involved, etc…Late morning work and possible future scenarios were discussed. At the end of the day, a participation certificate was given to each participant. Durata: 2 days
