Protected areas - Support to the Drafting of the Management Plan of the Natura 2000 Sites

In Samobor (Croatia) the training course of the guide-line Protected Areas in the ambit of the Balkans 2 project took place. Participants in the activities came from the Ministry of Culture to which the environmental sector and all the entities involved in the management of Protected Areas refer. Many officials and directors from the National Park of ""Mljet"", ""Kornati"" and ""Brijuni"" as well as representatives from the National Park of ""TelašÃ¦ica"" and ""Lastovo"" were involved. The second module was an occasion for studying in depth the Management Plan of the Natura 2000 Sites: European guide-lines, objectives, methods and drafting of the plan. In particular, the days for the activities were dedicated to a practical group training to support the participants in drafting the Management Plan for a Croatian site which could become part of the European Natura 2000 network in the future. The entire training course in Croatia was conducted with the collaboration of Mr. Alessandro Bardi, Mr. Matteo Magaudda and Ms Fabiana Panchetti (Temi srl - Rome). Durata: 3 days
