Mission to Tunisia

Between October 15th and 18th, 2006, the fourth mission took place in Tunisia in the ambit of the Support Programme for Regional Support – South Mediterranean. The mission was was organized in collaboration by the Embassy of Italy in Tunis and headed by Antonio Piceno responsible for the Procedure of Guide-line 2.1 ""Socio-Economic Development"" and Regional Leader for Tunisia. The Italian delegation in Tunisia included the representatives from the Italian Regional System: Andrea Freschi for the Basilicata region, Veronica D'Angelo for the Campania region, as well as the thematic experts and technical assistance from Formez for the various intervention guide-lines which were identified during the implementation of the programme. The meetings with the institutional representatives from the central authorities involved the Ministries of Development and International Cooperation, Foreign Affairs, Economic Development, Agriculture and Water Resources, Culture and Heritage, Infrastructure and Transport and Healthcare. A meeting was held at the Siliana Governorship in North-West Tunisia. Durata: 4 days
