Cohesion Policy: Two New Guide-lines have been published under the Administrative Twinning with the Bulgarian Ministry of Work

Two training days focussing on the drafting of two new guide-lines by Formez experts took place on February 26th and 27th 2008 and were directed to the personnel committed to the Information and Publicity Unit of the Structural Funds under the Operational Programme “Development of Human Resources” of the Ministry of Work and Social Policies and the three intermediary bodies, namely the Ministry of Education and Science, the Agency for Employment and the Agency for Social Assistance.
In particular, there are two different publications: the guide-lines for the realisation of a website for providing information about the Operational Programmes on Structural Funds, tenders, news and events, as well as the guide-lines for drafting a newsletter which must contribute to disseminate information and news about the Operational Programmes. Both the training activitiy and the drafting of these two new texts have been carried out under the Administrative Twinning with the Minsitry of Work and Social Policies aimed at assisting the Managing Authority (the Directorate for European Funds and International Programmes and Projects) in the management of the Operational Programme “Development of Human Resources”. These two new publications can be added to three previous releases: 1) the guide-lines for drafting communication plans for the current planning period; 2) the guide-lines for the organisation of events under the activities co-financed by the Structural Funds; 3) the guide-lines for the organisation of press office activities for communicating news, activities and projects co-financed through the Structural Funds. 600 copies of the latter were distributed in Brussels on November 26th and 27th 2007 on the occasion of the international conference “Telling the story. Communicating Cohesion Policy together” on cohesion policy communication organised by the General Directorate Regional Policy of the European Commission.
The guide-lines will  be also distributed in Salonic (Greece) during a trans-national forum on best practices regarding the communication of development programmes co-financed through the Structural Funds which will be held on April 10th and 11th. The event was organised by the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme of the Central Macedonian Region.
The activity of assistance of the Formez experts continued with the elaboration of a bid for tender for the assignment of external information and publicity activities as provided by the Communication Plan of the Operational Programme.
