Rome: Inter-regional Workshop on the Processes for the International Opening of Territories

The Inter-regional Workshop can be considered as the continuation of the specific sessions of exchange held by the regions involved in the project “Benchmarking of Regional Strategies and Organizational Models for Governing Cooperation and Internationalization Processes”, and represents an occasion for sharing the results of a common initiative which has lasted for several months.
During the workshop and on the basis of the benchmarking results, the needs of the regions as well as the organizational innovation actions will be highlighted, in particular those which have been developed to promote the international opening of territories. In this regard, the technical feasibility study of the permanent inter-regional workshop of technical assistance to the regions will be elaborated for supporting the government of cooperation and internationalization processes.

The programme implies two working days in which the seven Southern Italian regions will take part together with two North-central regions (Emilia Romagna and Friuli Venezia Giulia) and three European regions (Wallonia in Belgium, Cantabria in Spain and the PACA region in France) which are also involved in the acknowledgement procedure.
