Twinning with the Tunisian National Statistics Institute: The Training Course

From August 25th to 29th, in Rome the International Activities Office of Formez will hold a training course on the use of administrative sources for statistical purposes aimed at the Tunisian officials from the National Statistics Institute.

The study tour is included in the Twinning activities of the project Tunisia - Development of a Statistic Information System for Businesses (SISE) at the National Statistics Institute whose key goal is to develop economic information and to contribute to the enhancement of the National Statistics System.
The training course intends to diffuse integration and the use of administrative data for statistical purposes with the following specific activities: completeness of statistical registers; integration and/or control of the data deriving from surveys; eventual substitution of surveys (aimed at economic activities and socio-demographic statistics) for the purpose of reducing the statistical load on those responsible for the sector.
