Formez Presents "EuroPA" Projects at a Seminar on the Coordination of the Interventions Co-financed by Structural Funds

A Formez expert was invited to Sofia for outlining the “EuroPA” projects of the Italian Department for Public Administration which is managed by Formez.
The event was organized under the Twinning project “Improvement of the Coordination, Management and Implementation Mechanisms of EU Structural Instruments” with Bulgaria. The objective of the project is the strengthening of the administrative and institutional structures at local, regional and national level, so as to ensure the effective participation of Bulgaria in the European cohesion policy. The project beneficiary is the Bulgarian Ministry of Finance, while the Italian Team Leader is the Department for Economic Development and Cohesion – Department for Development Policies of the Ministry for Economic Development.
Riccardo Honorati Bianchi, Resident Twinning Adviser of the project on behalf of the Department for Development Policies, has opened the works. Prof. Gianluca Maria Esposito, Director General of the DG for Incentives to the Department for Development Policies business activities, followed up with a speech in which he outlined the Italian system of incentives to enterprises with particular emphasis on the aid to Small and Medium Enterprises and on the coordination of the interventions at national and regional level.
Two experts from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Twinning project partner, subsequently described Spain’s Structural Fund coordination instruments. A Formez expert outlined the “EuroPA” projects pathway with specific reference to the activities of support to Public Administrations concerning the organization and implementation of Structural Fund communication campaigns and the central role of the networks on SF communication.
