Formez takes part at the Mercato Audiovisual de Cataluna

17/05/2006 - From May 17th and 18th 2006, the seventh edition of the Audio-visual of Catalogne Market was held in Granollers, Barcelona. This year’s edition focussed on DTT broadcasting and the process of legal and economic innovation involving the field as a whole. The event is a technological trade fair where the audio-visual innovations are displayed and at the same time is a meeting point for debate and exchange on multi-media communications.
The participation of Formez was an occasion for developing international relationships in public communications as well as presenting the permanent research and analysis route that Formez has been carrying out for three years. The Formez intervention was contextualized in the session “Televisiòn de proximidad”, an assessment of the spin-offs which the emerging digital television and perspectives of interactivity can provide for local governance.
With the 2004 edition the MAC of Barcelona provided the occasion of a collaboration with the Mediterranean television networks in order to start up channels of inter-change of audio-visual products.
In the course of the event, prizes were awarded for encouraging the development of entertainment and T-Government content and services.
