POLAND - Implementation of the Integrated Regional Operational Programme at Central and Regional Level

 
Medium –term objectives:

Strengthening and consolidating the competencies of the Polish administrations and institutions involved in the utilization of Structural Funds and instruments of Cohesion Policy, with particular reference to the implementation of an Integrated Regional Operational Programme, in order to guarantee management, monitoring and evaluation efficacy and efficiency of the projects.
Strengthening the capacity of the interested institutions and final beneficiaries for support in the area of Structural Funds and implementation of Projects.


Actions:

• Efficient and effective implementation and selection of the projects
• Implementation of systems for financial management and control
• Written guide-lines for the next planning period
• Updating of the indicators and monitoring procedures
• Implementation efficacy for monitoring and reporting systems
• Creation and implementation of intermediate evaluation systems
• Training of personnel for the institutions involved in the implementation of IROP and for the final beneficiaries
• Drawing up a framework of reference and guide lines for regional authorities
• Definition of the Information and Communications plan and diffusion of the information on IROP
