SLOVAKIA - Improved Security, Quality and Availability of Transplant Organs, tissues and Cells
The project aims to introduce quality controls for transplant organs, and tissue and cell banks in order to ensure the maximum protection of public health.
Actions:
- Drafting of an audit report and a plan for the correction of eventual irregularities
- Operation of a system for the control of transplant tissues and cells as well as the setting up of transplant centres
- Development of guide-lines for quality monitoring systems (QMSG)
- Training personnel from transplant centres
- Creation of a unified communications system between transplant centres with reference to transplant tissues and organs (setting up and installation in the TA)
- Publication of brochures
