ESTONIA - Methodology and Technical Specifications for a Computerised Communicable Diseases Surveillance System

 
Medium –term objectives: 
The general objective of this project is to improve health care and health protection with regard to communicable diseases, according to the key EU directives and treaties.

Actions:

  • Updating of the national surveillance system
  • Implementation of case definitions of communicable diseases
  • Elaboration of technical specifications for the procurement of a Software Development Contract under TF 2004/006-270.05.01
  • A study visit to the Member States by the Estonian stakeholders in order to review existing systems
