ESTONIA - Implementation of a Computerised Surveillance System for Communicable Diseases

 
Medium –term objectives:
The overall objective of the project is to complete the implementation of the acquis concerning surveillance and control of communicable diseases in Estonia through the implementation of a computerised communicable diseases surveillance system designed by Twinning Light project EE04/IB/SO/01.
 
Actions:

  • Implementation of a reporting system
  • Implementation of a national early warning and response network
  •  Assessment of data quality
  • Involvement of qualified staff from relevant institutions
  • Preparation of guidelines for EWRS
  • The Estonian reporting system to be aligned with other EU MS systems
