TUNISIA - Institutional Building of Regional Development Agencies for the Promotion of Private Investment

 
Medium-term objectives:
 
With the ultimate aim to assist to an increased contribution from the private sector to regional development and for the improvement of global competitiveness of the economy, the project will pursue the following specific objectives:

• Strengthening Regional Development Bodies capacities and role on regional development and the promotion of local partnerships
• Improving the management methods of Regional Development Bodies and their mastery in macro-economics for the promotion of private investment
• Promoting partnerships and online organization of Regional Development Bodies and enhancing communication as well as producing and disseminating regional information

Actions

• Management and organization of human resources and regional development 
• Promotion of public-private partnerships and government relationships, Tunisian and European institutions in terms of investment promotion
• Support to ODR functions in terms of promotion of local partnerships and regional development strategies, assessment of territorial competitiveness, planning and programming, territorial marketing
• Management of information and communication means
