MOROCCO - Protection, Water and Environment

Medium-term objectives:
 
·       To improve planning on water and environment and to foster integrated management policies through EU Association Agreements
·       To plan regulations on environmental and water policies by taking into account all the institutional, juridical and financial aspects
·       To strengthen public administration capacities to guarantee integrated management and adoption of national and European environmental laws
·       To harmonize the Moroccan laws on integrated management of the environment in terms of adoption and application of legislations
·       To define a plan for adapting Moroccan environmental legislation to European laws with regard to institutional, juridical and financial methods

 
Actions:
·       Istitutionalization and utilization of cooperation and coordination structures of the main bodies to guarantee the effective application of the integrated management of the environment and water sectors
·       Definition of the institutional, juridical and financial needs to ensure the adoption of European regulations on environment
·       Improvement of public administrative capacities on management of the environment
·       Realization of information activities for greater awareness-raising
