BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - Capacity Building of the Directorate for CIPS

 
Medium-term objectives:
The overall objective of this twinning project is to ensure a more coordinated, systematic and methodological approach in the use of ICT in the public sector and the management of Identification Documents related databases in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This overall objective will be achieved by providing institutional support to Directorate CIPS to improve in the short term its security, organization, web-publication, operational performance and effectiveness of Directorate CIPS and the databases it manages, while supporting in the medium term its institutional anchoring. 
Actions:
·         Transfer of practical knowledge to Directorate CIPS (both through on- and off the job training including workshops and specialised training) on organisation, security, web-publications of CIPS-like databases
·         Technical assistance and advice to the Directorate CIPS on its organisation, structure, systems, procedures, security, website, skills, etc, as well as its institutional location
·         Short term specialist inputs if and when required
·         Analytical input for determining the optimal institutional location of Directorate CIPS
