CIPE UNIV - Networking of Universities which have Implemented Post-graduate Courses in the Field of Training for PA

 
Medium-term objectives:

Creation of trans-national inter-university networks for “Training Europe” aimed at regional and local Public Administrations in Southern Italy. The project aims at experimenting with an innovative model of trans-national networks composed of universities and higher training centres which hold post-graduate courses for the PA. At the end of the project, Public Administrations could make use of a network of high-level training structures aimed at encouraging collaboration between territories and integration between scientific and teaching competencies at European level, in order to define high-quality training courses for building capacities on European themes to transfer to Southern Italian PAs.
Actions:

• Establishing a network between universities and higher training centres committed to post-graduate training activities regarding the process of Public Administration internationalization
• Defining new curricula for the “European civil servant”
• Identifying high-level training courses to produce qualified professionals on European themes to transfer to Southern Italian PAs
• Providing a first-edition prototype of the course
• Raising regional and local PA awareness so as to enter an international prospective and opening dialogue with the EU and new/future EU member states
• Enhancing stable relationships between the universities and higher training centres involved in the project, as well as between these countries and regional and local PAs.
