CIPE OCSE - Benchmarking of Regional Strategies and Organizational Models for Governing Cooeparation and Internationalization

Alternative title:
BENCHMARKING OF REGIONAL STRATEGIES AND ORGANIZATIONAL MODELS FOR GOVERNING COOPERATION AND INTERNATIONALIZATION PROCESSES

Medium-term objectives:
The key objective of this project is to identify the methods so that the regions can govern the processes for the international opening of territories which are perceived as a combination of traditional policies on international cooperation and the dynamics of internationalization.
Although the rationalization of regional governance systems for international policies is a result that can be achieved only in the long term and which requires strong political involvement at all government levels, steps towards its achievement can be undertaken in the short term.
The project intends to be one of these steps so as to help each Italian region in an integrated manner to experiment appropriate organizational models in view of the objectives that the regions mean to pursue by verifying consistency between organization and strategies.

Expected results:

  • An organizational analysis report for each region
  • Benchmarking report
  • Realization of the “Inter-regional Laboratory on International Activities”
  • Pre-feasibility studies for a “Permanent Inter-regional Laboratory on International Activities”
