SERBIA AND MACEDONIA - LAW 84/2001 - Training Civil Servants for Local Development

 
Objectives:

The medium-term objectives are to support the current process of local PA modernization by enriching and strengthening local competencies for socio-economic development, by enhancing the quality of territorial planning through the development of local capacities in accordance with Community standards and by promoting long-life learning for personnel from local agencies.
 
Actions:

• To promote long-life learning and develop e-learning to train civil servants from the socio-economic sector
• To offer specialistic training programmes to territorial socio-economic development operators
• To ensure sustainable investment in long-life learning by local structures
• To strengthen local institutions by fostering the transfer of experience and exchange between local institutions and Italian institutions on the use of human resources for territorial development
• To ensure publicity and visibility of the interventions which are financed by the Italian cooperation for the support of Serbian and Macedonian local structures
