On June 17 2009 in Zagreb, the Final Conference under the Twinning Project Coratia "Preparing the Establishment of the S.I.R.E.N.E. Office" will be held for the officials of the Croatian and Italian Ministries of the Interior.

 
From June 3 to 5 2009 to the Italian Ministry of the Interior in Rome, the second study visit under the Twinning Project Croatia "Preparing the Establishment of the S.I.R.E.N.E. Office" is being held. The beneficiaries of this activity are 2 officials from the Croatian Ministry of the Interior.

From 9 to 13 march 2009, the study visit of the delegation from the Croatian Ministry of the Interior will be held in Rome. The 5-day visit will focus on International Police Cooperation Service and will include practical experiences with the assistance of the Italian Carabinieri force.
 

On January 27th in Zagreb in the amphitheatre of the Direction General of the Croatian Police, the Project PHARE 2006 Twinning Light Preparing the Establishment of the Sirene Office was inaugurated.

On October 30th, 2008 the Italian Ministry of the Interior and Formez awarded the Twinning Light Project Croatia HR/2006/IB/JH/01TL entitled “Preparing the Croatian Police for the Establishment of the S.I.R.E.N.E. Office”.

On May 13th in Rome, the Balkans 2 Project concluded with a

19/07/2004 - Croatia can be proud of having 6 sites considered to be among “ the most beautiful sites in the world” on list of UNESCO properties. There are certain standards required to manage the sites of “the wonders of the world” and certain procedures for these sites to be chosen for the UNESCO list.

From September 18th to 21st, 2007 in Zagreb the first module of the training course in the ambit of the guide-line Cultural Heritage for the Croatian Public Administration, began. The first session was divided into two sections: Session I.1, September 18th and 19th. Enhancement of the cultural heritage.

In Samobor (Croatia) the training course of the guide-line Protected Areas in the ambit of the Balkans 2 project took place. Participants in the activities came from the Ministry of Culture to which the environmental sector and all the entities involved in the management of Protected Areas refer.

The training course of the guide-line Cultural Heritage in the ambit of the Balkan area 2 project, was held in Zagreb (Croatia). Session 2 was divided into two parts: - Session 2.1, October 2nd and 3rd. Integration between cultural heritage and related sectors: environment, tourism, handicrafts and local products.

The training course on the thematic guide-lines for Protected Areas in the ambit of the Balkans 2 project was embarked on in Sali, on the island of Dugi Otok in Croatia. The beneficiaries of the activities are officials and executives from the central and local Croatian Public Administrations involved in the management of Protected Areas.
