Training in Public Administration: A Study Visit under the Europeaid Project in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

Study Visit to Italy for the SEA Training Centre
The study visit to be held in Rome from 21 to 23 May 2012 aims at the following:

Cultural Heritage - Improved Efficacy and Sustainability of an Aid Project: The Project Cycle Management (PCM)
The training programme proposed by the guide-line Cultural Heritage of the Balkans 2 project has started in Macedonia with the first session dedicated to the Project Cycle Management and aimed at those participants identified by the referents from the Ministries of Culture in the 4 countries of interest (Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia).
Protected Areas - Managing Protected Areas
The training course of the guide-line Protected Areas in the ambit of the Balkans 2 Project in Kokani, Macedonia, continues. The beneficiaries of the activities are civil servants and executives from the central and local Macedonian Public Administration involved in the management of Protected Areas.
Civil Protection - Fourth Basic Course
The fourth civil protection course in Macedonia. The course will be held in Mavrovo and will focus on civil protection planning and programming with particular attention to the Italian experience. Furthermore, the participants will undertake practical training on how to formulate an emergency plan. Durata: 3 days
Civil Protection - Regulatory and organizational aspects for civil protection in Macedonia
Basic Course on civil protection in Montenegro, first module. The topics of civil protection in Macedonia and the European civil protection policies will be examined with particular attention to similarities and dissimilarities in various countries. Durata: 2 days
Protected Areas - Team Building Module
This is the first training module of Team Building for the guide-line Protected Areas in Macedonia. The activity will take place in the National Park of Mavrovo and the beneficiaries have been identified among executives and civil servants from the Macedonian Public Administration.
Civil Protection - Sixth Module of the Basic Course in Civil Protection
The sixth module of the basic course on civil protection held in Veles on October 9th and 10th, and focussed on the psychological influence of an emergency and communications in critical situations. Durata: 2 days
Civil Protection - The organization of information and a database for civil protection
Basic Course on civil protection in Macedonia, second module. Topics related to chartography, geographical information systems, on-the-spot geographical prospecting (coordinates). Durata: 3 days
Support to Regional Cooperation – Socio-economic Development of the Macedonian Territory through Local Museums

The aim will be to present a project proposal to the Macedonian partners in order to foster the socio-economic development of the territory by improving local museums.
A Formez Project for Public Administration Training in the Balkans in the sector of Civil Protection
